The Russian Poker Championship will be held in Sochi, Vladivostok and Altai
During 2023, three Russian Poker Cup regional tournament series and the Russian Poker Championship final will take place. The first stage of the championship is already taking place at the Sochi Poker Club
Regional tournament series will be held in the Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone (Sochi Casino), in the Primorye gambling zone (Tigre de Cristal casino) and in the Siberian Coin gambling zone (Altai Palace casino).
The main distinguishing feature of the Russian Poker Championship: the main Texas Holdem NL and Omaha PL tournaments are held in the «one entry per day» format. The winners of each regional tournament series receive a free buy-in to the main tournament of the Championship in their discipline, as well as accommodation for the duration of the final in the Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone.
Also, among the participants of the main tournaments, an annual leaderboard will be played: for a prize-winning place at each stage of the Championship, the player receives points in the overall leaderboard. The finalist who will have the most points after the series in December wins and becomes the «Player of the Year of Russia».
The regional tournament series will end with the final on December 22, 2023 in Sochi. Players who are in the top 50 participants in the main Russian Poker Cup tournaments in their discipline will be able to take part in the Russian Poker Championship.
The program of the large Russian Poker Championship festival includes two main tournaments: Texas Holdem and PL Omaha. Entrance to each of them at the final will cost 60,000 rubles.
The prize fund of the rating of the Russian Poker Championship is accumulative. At the end of the season, the winner takes 50% of the total prize fund, the second place receives 30%, the third — 20%.

On December 24, after the finals of the Russian Poker Championship, the Sochi Casino will host an awards ceremony for representatives of the gambling industry Russian Poker Awards. Professional awards will be given to the best managers, managing directors and tournament directors. The culmination of the ceremony will be the announcement of the «Best Player of the Year in Russia» based on the results of the Championship rating.
