The second most popular was the SOBRANIE casino in Yantarnaya, which hosted 124,655 guests. The gambling rating of summer attendance is closed by the Siberian Coin in Altai with 27,386 guests.
Dmitry Belyanin, CEO of the Siberian Coin gambling zone, explained the increase in the number of visitors by the high demand for non-gaming entertainment and services: “We strive to increase the diversity of non-gaming leisure scenarios for our guests. This approach helps us build a reputation as a leader in the field of event tourism in the region. I would like to note that the result of our efforts is expressed in specific figures, as almost half of the summer flow of guests visited our facilities and events not related to gambling, namely the hotel, the maral farm and two open-air music festivals.”
It is interesting to note that all gambling zones show steady growth when compared to the same summer period over the past few years. Thus, the Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone records the following dynamics of increase in guests in the summer months: 2021 - 159,327 people, 2022 - 182,282 people, 2023 - 207,827 people, 2024 - 237,538 people. Dynamics of guest growth in the summer months at the Kaliningrad Yantarnaya: 2021 - 27,092 people, 2022 - 32,504 people, 2023 - 41,442 people, 2024 - 125,655. Dynamics of guest growth in the summer months at the Siberian Coin in Altai: 2021 - 9,952 people, 2022 - 11,270 people, 2023 - 14,852, 2024 - 27,586.
Compared to last year, Primorsky Tigre de Cristal recorded a 14% increase in the number of guests visiting the Far Eastern casino in the summer months.
AIRIS Executive Director Dmitry Anfinogenov commented on the growing popularity of Russian gambling zones: “The foundation of this result is, of course, the growing interest in domestic tourism. People have been traveling more around their country since the time of Covid, and over the past few years this trend has only intensified. All gambling zones are located in attractive natural locations. The Caucasus Mountains and the Baltic coast, Altai and the Far East have traditionally been magnets for tourists.
But it is important to note that with the growth of the overall flow of guests, competition between entertainment facilities in these regions has intensified. And, in my opinion, it was the gambling zones that correctly considered the desire of Russians to fill their vacation with an eventful component. The domestic tourism market has formed a demand for exclusive impressions and new emotional experiences.
It is this need that gambling zones have been able to satisfy today. Russian casinos have expanded their entertainment options, focusing on concerts, shows, sporting events, gastronomic festivals and dinners, theatre productions, intellectual quizzes and wellness treatments. The results of the summer season were the result of a new strategy for the development of the gambling business, and analyzing such data, we are convinced of its effectiveness."
