It is interesting to note that the average attendance of all gambling zones during the gender holiday period from 2020 to 2023 is 19,900 people. The exact breakdown by year is as follows: 2020 - 24,822 people, 2021 - 20,000 people, 2022 - 12,016 people, 2023 - 22,835 people.
It is important to say that the production of a detailed analysis of attendance at Russian casinos during gender holidays is complicated due to their different duration and distribution in the production calendar from year to year. Nevertheless, this year gambling clusters expect to update their record values.
The 25,000 attendance forecast is based on the strategic placement of the March and February holidays in the 2024 production calendar. And also on the established trend, in which Russian gambling zones annually increase the number of guests during such periods as: New Year holidays, May holidays and the summer holiday season.
Executive Director of the Association of Entertainment Industry and Event Tourism Operators AIRIS Dmitry Anfinogenov maintains a positive forecast for the attendance of gambling zones this year: “It is more likely that gambling zones will set new attendance records during the February and March holidays this year. I personally attribute this scenario to two main factors. First, Russian casinos extremely intensified their entertainment activities during this period. An additional incentive to visit should be large-scale sporting events, gastronomic dinners, concerts and much more. And the second is the increasing tourist flow in the locations of the gambling zones. The potential of domestic tourists and the activity of local residents will likely ensure high occupancy of entertainment facilities in each region.”
