The exact amount of taxes paid from the gambling industry for the first quarter of 2024 was 731,289,173 rubles. It is important to note that payments from gambling zones for the same period in 2023 were distributed as follows: Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone - 388,465,167 rubles, Tigre de Cristal casino - 191,983,524 rubles, SOBRANIE casino - 65,971,628 rubles, Sibirskaya gambling zone coin" - 28,125,054 rubles. The total amount of taxes paid for the first quarter amounted to 674,545,373 rubles.
A year earlier, in the first quarter of 2022, gambling zones brought the state a total of 655,252,275 rubles in total. With the following breakdown for each gambling cluster: Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone - 414,056,474 rubles, Tigre de Cristal casino - 169,672,753 rubles, SOBRANIE casino - 50,439,891 rubles, Siberian Coin gambling zone - 21,083,157 rubles.
Thus, if we consider data on the first quarters from 2022 to 2024, payments from the gambling business to the state increased by 12%.
It should also be mentioned that in the first three months of 2024, gambling zones welcomed 413,000 guests. Compared to last year, the increase in attendance in the first quarter was 15%. AIRIS Executive Director Dmitry Anfinogenov pointed out the reasons for the increase in tax deductions from the gambling business: “Gaming zones have occupied an important place on the economic maps of their regions for several years now. The gambling industry creates thousands of jobs, invests in large-scale infrastructure projects and generates additional tourist flow. The consequence of this is an increase in tax deductions.
Representatives of government authorities can observe a positive trend towards an increase in tax payments from the gambling business. Thus, in 2023, members of the AIRIS association paid more than 2 billion rubles in taxes.
The leader in this indicator was the Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone, which replenished the state treasury by 1.3 billion rubles. The second was the Far Eastern Tigre de Cristal, its figure was 513 million rubles. The third and fourth positions are occupied by Siberian Coin and Kaliningrad SOBRANIE with results of 179 and 80 million rubles. Comparing 2023 and 2022, the gaming industry as a whole grew by almost 10% in annual taxes paid.
The indicators of the last three months allow us to make a cautiously positive forecast that by the end of the year the tax record may be broken again. To achieve this, it is important to continue the comprehensive development of gambling clusters in the key of event tourism drivers that attract people with a variety of entertainment.”
