Mumiy Troll: A Tribute Show

“Vladivostok 2000” will be performed a few thousand kilometers away from the Pacific Ocean, at the very heart of the Rosa Khutor mountain cluster. On 29 August, Boomerang Casino will bring together everyone who’s been missing the wild vibe of early Mumiy Troll and the aesthetics of Russian rock of the early 2000s. The famous tribute group Karnavala Nyet will take the stage as part of the STARS show series.

The Saratov group has been rocking concert venues throughout Russia for six years and counting. It is a project for those who appreciate live sound and want to relive the experience of hearing the songs that shaped the musical tastes of generations. Karnavala Nyet is not a mere copy of the original. It is a powerful show in its own right, with its own delivery, energy, and drive. Its founder and frontman Nikita Karnaval combines music and a serious acting background. A winner of the “Synchronized Buffoonery” category of the Russian Student Spring festival, Nikita took his theatrical experience to the musical stage. His eccentric delivery, fluid movements, and constant interaction with the audience help recreate that slightly ironic signature vibe of Mumiy Troll’s original concerts.

The night will feature the legendary rock band’s famous hits “Make Off”, “Vladivostok 2000”, “She-Bear”, “A Bride?”, “Dolphins”, “This is Love”, and most certainly “Karnavala Nyet”.
