Progressive Bounty

Every Friday, Sochi Poker Club holds a no-limit progressive bounty Texas Hold 'em tournament. The goal is either to collect a better combination of the player's two downcards and five community cards or to make bets forcing the opponent to fold.

A bounty will be assigned to each tournament participant. The 330 c.u. buy-in is divided up as follows: 30 c.u.: participation fee, 150 c.u.: prize pool, 150 c.u.: elimination bounty.

The elimination bounty, in turn, is split in half. The player receives one half of the fee immediately, while the other half goes towards the bounty on his own head.

Assume that player A eliminates player B. The bounty for player B was 150 c.u. Player A immediately receives 75 c.u., whereas the other 75 c.u. go to his own bounty pool, which now rises from 150 to 225 c.u. Consequently, whoever eliminates player A will immediately receive 112 c.u., and 113 c.u. will go to his own bounty fund.

The more opponents a player eliminates, the greater the reward on his own head! Other important information:

• Buy-in: 330 c.u.
• Starting stack: 15 000 chips;
• Starting blinds: 100-100;
• Level time: 17 min;
• Late registration 136 min (8 levels);
• Registration begins one hour before the start of the tournament; The number of re-entries is unlimited.
