Professional Boxing Night

On December 19, the Sochi RED ARENA will host a major international tournament organized by the RCC Boxing promotional company. The main event of the evening will determine the holder of the prestigious WBA Gold International title in the welterweight division – up to 63.5 kilograms.

The story of this fight is interesting not only for its sporting component but also for the personal stories of the fighters. For Sochi’s own Vahe Sarukhanyan (22-4-2, 4 KOs), this evening will be special – he hasn’t boxed in front of a home audience for five whole years. Now he has a chance to win an international belt in front of his fellow countrymen. Opposing the experienced Sarukhanyan will be the promising and still undefeated boxer from Mozhaisk, Arman Galstyan (8-0, 3 KOs). For the young Galstyan, this fight will be one of the most serious challenges in his sports career. A victory over an opponent like Sarukhanyan will open the door to top‑level fights at the world level.

In addition to the main fight, the tournament card includes bouts featuring prominent local athletes. Oganes Ustyan, Igor Adleiba, Nestor Dzhanba, and German Ardzheniya will take to the ring, representing Sochi, the Krasnodar Territory, and Abkhazia. In August of this year, the guys already boxed at RED ARENA and secured confident victories with the thunderous support of the crowd. On December 19, they will need the fans’ energy again.

For sports fans, this is a great opportunity to see professional boxing on a global scale live. The tournament will take place on December 19. Entry to the venue will begin at 18:00. Age restriction: 12+
