The First Russian Sports Poker Championship

This is a first for Russian competitive poker. Players across the country are increasingly gathering at their local clubs to compete in internal tournaments. Now, these clubs have the opportunity to step beyond their usual confines and determine which of them is the best at a national level.

At stake is a prize pool of 7,800,000 rubles, the title of Russia’s best competitive poker club, and the top spot in the new national rankings.

From November 16 to 19, the Sochi Poker Club will host the Russian Club Championship in Competitive Poker, bringing together club teams from across the country. The focus of the competition will not be on individual players, but on the clubs themselves and their teams' collective performance. Each club will field a squad of five players led by a captain, with points earned by participants across three tournaments contributing to an overall team score. The autumn stage will determine the best competitive poker club in Russia.
